Agrarian Development Act, No. 46 of 2000 — Protects tenant cultivators of paddy land, controls rent, bans filling paddy land without permission, and sets up Farmers' Organisations and Agrarian Tribunals.
Agrarian Development (Amendment) Act, No. 46 of 2011 — Amended many sections of the 2000 Act, including tribunals and appeals.
Irrigation Ordinance — Irrigation rates, Farmers' Organisation rules, cultivation meetings and offences against irrigation works.
